confirms this to be his most mature work to date.
For weeks Gilyto just wanted to highlight "STRIBILIN! July 5th 2009” as a TEASER via newspapers, TV,
Radios, websites, Emails and Outdoors. It featured an old man asking for something very traditional,
something good... something STRIBILIN!
Meaning Something Good, loud, agitated, STRIBILIN fits well in this album in which 90% of the songs are
danceable, cheerful and very tropical.
The lyrics in many ways are about love, traditional and social problems.
The music Nhordês Dimeu (my God), a conversation with God, is the key opening of the album its main
objective is sending messages to society about problems affecting mainly children and the elderly people.
As a reinforcement to the message, Gilyto invited Virgul(Da Weasel) and Dino and they have their own
inpute on this message of alert and hope.
Many guests are part of this album, Carla Maués, a Brazilian singer (São Paulo) together with the Gilyto
give life to a new version of the theme É Tarde Demais, dos Raça Negra.
Palopianos, another song dedicated to PALOP, in which each country is represented by an artist, Gilyto
(Cape Verde), Daniel L (Angola), Djipson (Guinea Bissau), Ancha (Mozambique) and Juka (S. Tomé and
Príncipe) .

his 10 year career, such as Kim Alves, Dabs, Ali Angel, Thino MC and JP.
He also has new collaborations with Peruvian J. Cervantes and Chandinho(Chacha Music) a
Capeverdean artist resident in United States

Having Stribilin! To be the video that promotes the worldwide launch on July 5, 2009. Day that also
commemorates the independence of Cape Verde.
